Project map showing the next two closure locations.
Work continues on U.S. 30 at Millard and Bennett Roads
Work for this project is being done in stages as our contractor coordinates with our utility partners and the railroad contractor. Some of our work is dependent on our partners work. For this reason our schedule is subject to change.
Road closures
West side of Bennett Road closure
Currently, Bennett Road is closed on the west side of the U.S. 30 intersection and will remain closed for approximately two more months.
You can access Bennett Road from U.S. 30 by using the detours on Achilles Road or Church Road.
|
East side of Bennett Road closure
Starting April 15, the railroad contractor will close Bennett Road on the east side of the U.S. 30 intersection through April 21.
During the closure, you can access Bennett Road from U.S. 30 by using the detours on Berg Road and Millard Road.
|
East side of Millard Road closure
After the railroad contractor completes the work on the east side of Bennett Road, they will close the east side of Millard Road starting on April 22 to July to work on the rail crossings and continue installing the signal.
During the closure, you can access Bennett Road from U.S. 30 by using the detours on Bennett Road and Gable Road.

Work happening in 2022
The railroad contractor is upgrading the rail crossings at both intersections as part of the project. Some of the work we are doing needs to happen after the rail work is completed, including the final paving of the project area.
Visit the project webpage or TripCheck.com for the most recent information on closures and impacts.
