PORTLAND – Various work leading up to the Rose Festival, including illumination work, graffiti removal, litter removal, signage and some bridge repairs are taking place in Portland, and will require the following full closure of
I-5 northbound and southbound from the Marquam Bridge to the Fremont Bridge, and all the associated ramps:
Full Closure: Beginning Friday, May 13th, I-5 northbound, between MP 299.53 and MP 302.99, will be closed for one night only from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. The estimated completion date for this work is May 14th.
Beginning Saturday, May 14th, I-5 southbound, between MP 299.53 and MP 302.99, will be closed for one night only from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. The estimated completion date for this work is May 15th.
Ramp Closures: Beginning Friday, May 13th, during the full closure of I-5 northbound the following ramps will be closed:
• I-5 NB on-ramp from I-405 SB
• I-5 NB on-ramp from Macadam Ave
• I-5 NB on-ramp from I-84 WB
• I-5 NB on-ramp from Morrison St
• I-5 NB on-ramp from Broadway
Beginning Saturday May 14th, during the full closure of I-5 southbound the following ramps will be closed:
• I-5 SB on-ramp from I-84 WB
• I-5 SB on-ramp from Greeley Ave
• I-5 SB on-ramp from I-405 NB
Detour
When These closures are taking place motor carriers will need to use I-405.
