Hazard tree removal planned for Carpenterville Highway

BROOKINGS – Starting on Monday, March 21, motorists should expect intermittent weekday lane closures and delays on Carpenterville Highway (Oregon 255) as contractors remove hazard trees.

The work will take place along a half-mile section of Carpenterville Highway between Alder Ridge Road and Tetley Road (mile post 357.7-358.2).

The work is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, March 21-25 and March 28-April 1.

Motorist should expect delays up to 20 minutes. Flaggers will provide traffic control.
