Commenting:
Please submit review comments using the comment log provided on the ODOT HDM website. Submit completed comment logs via email no later than March 18, to Will Woods, Senior Standards Engineer.
Please feel free to comment on any topic related to the HDM draft, which may include suggestions for information that could be included in future versions of the HDM. The HDM is moving to a yearly update cycle, so revisions and additions will be addressed more frequently than in the past.
The document is still in draft form, so the document may contain errors. Please comment when an error has been identified or formatting needs correction.
In an attempt to keep review files to a manageable size, the file size of the Draft HDM has been reduced. In some cases, this has resulted in figures with low-resolution images. Higher-quality versions of any image can be requested by emailing Will Woods. High-resolution images will be used in the final published version.

Document Format:
As much as possible, ODOT has tried to identify new content and content that has already been published in the 2012 HDM, other published documents, or technical bulletins and directives. New language is shown in a purple font. Existing (or previously published) language is shown in a green font. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, not all language in the document has been identified as new or existing.
Beginning with this version of the HDM, ODOT is moving to a new font key to help identify Standards, Guidelines, Options, and General Text. Where applied, each type of language will be identified by Bold, Bold Italics, Italics, or Standard Font. This new font key has not yet been applied to all Parts of the HDM. If the font key is being used for a Part, the Introduction subsection will state that.
We very much appreciate any efforts to review and comment. Please contact Will Woods with any questions or comments.
