CCD Offices Opening at 10:00 AM Today (Monday)
Due to inclement weather, State offices in the Portland-metro and Salem-metro areas will be on a delayed opening today, Monday, 12/27/2021. The Salem Registration Office, Salem Contact Center, and the Portland Bridge Office will be opening today at 10:00 AM. Prior to opening, employees are available to answer questions via email at:

Anyone with appointments that were previously scheduled in our offices during the closure will be contacted directly to reschedule your appointment.

Chain Reminder:
The Commerce and Compliance Division would like to remind you that Oregon's chain law applies to all highways throughout the state. When you drive in winter conditions, you may see signs telling you to carry chains or traction tires and when you are required to use them. A fine of up to $880 could occur if you are found to be operating without chains when required.
Oversized Load Movement Reminder:
The Commerce and Compliance Division would like to remind you that the movement of oversize loads is not authorized when conditions are hazardous. It is the driver’s responsibility to determine if local road conditions are hazardous, unless the Department of Transportation has closed or posted signs on the highway displaying restrictions due to weather/road conditions in the area.
