Construction starting on U.S. 20 the week of December 6!
Phase 1 Work Starting Next Week
We are working on making safety improvements on U.S. 20 from Albany to Corvallis. Phase 1 of this work, from west of Garland Nursery to the Bowers Slough Bridge, is starting next week and is expected to be completed by August 2023.
What to Expect:
The first week of construction (starting December 6) we are surveying and restriping the full project area. Expect nighttime work with a single lane of traffic using flaggers and pilot cars to control the work zone. There may be up to 20 minute delays.
The first few months work will occur near Independence Highway on the south side of U.S 20. Most work can be done during the day with intermittent lane closures allowed nightly Sunday 7 p.m. through Friday 6 a.m. as needed.
Expect construction noise, delays and lane closures controlled by flaggers.
Our schedule may change, visit our project page or TripCheck.com for the most up to date information.
Stay tuned for an online open house featuring all the projects we are constructing in 2022!
