SALEM - The Governor’s Advisory Committee on Motorcycle Safety will meet via conference call at 4 p.m., Oct. 21. The agenda includes a presentation about equity and the motorcycle safety program, reports from liaisons and more. Information on how to join the virtual meeting is available on the website.

The Governor’s Advisory Committee on Motorcycle Safety is charged with advising the governor and ODOT’s Transportation Safety Division on issues regarding motorcycle rider safety. The committee reviews, proposes and makes recommendations concerning motorcycle safety-related legislation. The GAC-MS meetings also serve as a public forum for motorcyclists to discuss safety issues and to share motorcyclist safety information with riders and the general public.
