OR 219 bridge over East Champoeg Creek down to one lane

Flaggers will control traffic around the clock during repairs

Sept. 10, 2021

Traffic has been reduced to one lane controlled by flaggers while workers make repairs to the OR 219 bridge across East Champoeg Creek west of Woodburn.

The flaggers will be in place around the clock during the repairs. The need for the repairs was discovered during an inspection, requiring a reduction in the weight allowed on the bridge.

The lane reduction will continue until later in September. The bridge will re-open when repairs are complete and both lanes can safely open.

The two-lane bridge opened in 1959.
