Yesterday’s news about the FDA approval of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine means the deadline for state employees to be fully vaccinated is Oct. 18. Fully vaccinated means having received both doses of a two-dose vaccine or one dose of a single-dose vaccine and at least 14 days have passed since the individual’s final dose of COVID-19 vaccine. All updates will be shared on our COVID-19 information page. And remember to send your questions to COVID-19Questions@odot.state.or.us. We’re compiling an FAQ document as we work out details and will share with everyone as soon as possible.

NEW! Ask a Recruiter

Q: Do I need to write a cover letter?

A: At ODOT, we try to make job announcements clear on what required materials are needed for each posting. If a cover letter is required, you will find specific information in the “How to Apply” section of the job posting towards the bottom of the page. As always, if you have application questions, please feel free to contact the assigned recruiter, which is also located in the job posting under the “Need Help” section. – Nikki Hlavinka, Recruitment Consultant.
