Beltline Delta Interchange new ramp opens Friday morning
EUGENE — Opening the new ramp from northbound Delta Highway to westbound Beltline Highway is delayed until early Friday morning, July 30.
The ramp was scheduled to open on Wednesday night, July 28. Crews are finishing the preparation work, placing concrete barrier along the outer edge of the new ramp and installing meters to help traffic flow on Beltline Highway.
Northbound Delta travelers will continue to detour to the light at Green Acres Road and turn left onto the onramp to westbound Beltline Highway. A temporary left turn signal is controlling traffic. This access is only available for the detour. Crews will be completing the new off ramp from northbound Delta Highway to westbound Beltline Highway.
All dates are subject to change. Follow detour signs and check TripCheck.com for current road conditions and restrictions.
Once the new off ramp is completed, the majority of the work to reconfigure the interchange to improve safety and traffic flow will be done. Final work completing the project is schedule to be finished in August. Construction began in late 2019.
More information and videos about the project are available at the project webpage.
Where traffic is routed through or around a work zone, pedestrians, including those with disabilities, will also be provided routes through or around the work zone.
