New Oregon Trucking Online function for out-of-state carriers

Out-of-state carriers with PIN access can now self-issue temporary passes on Oregon Trucking Online.  For legal operations in Oregon, temporary passes are a required credential for all carriers not already filing monthly or quarterly tax reports.

Do you need a temporary pass? Save yourself time and do it online!

Who is eligible? 

All out-of-state motor carriers with PIN access.

How to:

Step 1: Sign-up for a PIN.

• Visit oregontruckingonline.com
• Use the “Sign up for a PIN” tab to submit our new online PIN Request Form
• Your temporary one-time use PIN will be emailed to the email address on your request form. PIN requests are processed within 24 hours so we recommend planning ahead.

Step 2: Log in to Oregon Trucking Online and select the “PERMITS ISSUANCE” option on the Main Menu.

• Don’t forget to change your security PIN before logging off.

Step 3: Select and complete the Issue Temporary Pass information screens and pay for your temporary pass through the Shopping Cart.

• You can pay using Visa or MasterCard.
• Copies of the Temporary Pass will be available to print or download through the “Cart/Logout/Reprint/Batch” option on the Main Menu.
• You can also sign up for Direct Payment to avoid paying credit card service charges. Sign up for Direct payment using the “Manage Your Account” option on the Main Menu.

NOTE: Approval for Direct Payment may take up to five business days.
