ODOT CONSTRUCTION REPORT (Update)

Watch for nighttime I-5 ramp closures in Roseburg area next week

June 11, 2021

ROSEBURG – Interstate 5 motorists should expect nighttime ramp closures at Exit 121 (McLain Avenue) and Exit 123 (Fairgrounds) next week for paving work.

Construction is expected to take two nights at each interchange, beginning Sunday and Monday nights (June 13 and 14) at Exit 121, then Tuesday and Wednesday nights (June 15 and 16) at Exit 123. The ramp closures are scheduled from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Paving is weather dependent and schedules could change without notice.

Detour signs and message boards will be in place. During construction, motorists are advised to continue past the closed ramps and use the next interchange to turn around.

The $17 million I-5 Garden Valley to Roberts Creek project will pave eight miles of I-5, including the ramps at several interchanges. All work is scheduled to be completed this fall.
