Pacific Lamprey

The Pacific lamprey is an unusual looking fish that used to thrive in Oregon waters but has dwindled in numbers. Now, our fish passage program is one of several efforts helping bring this older-than-dinosaurs creature back home, where it can remain an important part of Native American culture and a valuable species for many other reasons, too.
