Graphic of recommended upstream and downstream corridor alternatives for the pedestrian-bike bridge

REMINDER: Review the Team Recommendations and Share Your Input by June 6!

We heard you! While 80 percent of people who took our April survey support a bridge for people walking, biking and rolling, we understand there is more to learn about potential benefits and impacts of a new crossing.

Based on evaluation and feedback, the project team recommends advancing an upstream corridor and a downstream corridor in the concept plan, as shown in the image above. Focusing on broader corridors, rather than a single alignment, acknowledges and respects the need to further analyze the benefits, burdens, and unknowns of each corridor in a future study.

We want to hear from you! Review an update on the team's recommendation in English and Español. Skip the update and go directly to the survey (English or Español) to tell us what you think.

About the Project

Currently, people walking, biking and rolling across the Willamette River between Oregon City and West Linn use the Arch Bridge (OR 43) which does not have dedicated bike paths or sidewalks that meet the Americans with Disabilities Act standards. Over the past eight months, Oregon City, West Linn, Clackamas County, Metro and ODOT explored potential new pedestrian-bicycle bridge alignments between the Willamette Falls and the I-205 Abernethy Bridge.
