Gettings Creek safety rest area to close for maintenance
EUGENE—The Gettings Creek Safety Rest area on Interstate five, 14 miles south of Eugene (milepost 178), will close for two days this week for routine maintenance.
On Tuesday, February 7, 2012, the southbound rest area will be closed between 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use the Cabin Creek Safety Rest Area on I-5, southbound, 20 miles north of Roseburg.
On Wednesday, February 8, 2012, the northbound rest area will be closed between 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use the Oak Grove Safety Rest Area on I-5 northbound, 13 miles north of Eugene.
