 Interstate 5 – Pacific Highway – Rose Quarter Investigations
Project Description: This project will conduct utility mapping, hazardous materials and soil sampling in the I-5 Rose Quarter Improvement Project area along I-5.
Traffic Impacts: No traffic impacts.

Interstate 84 – Columbia River Highway – Hood River Bridges Repair
Project Description: ODOT is repairing and replacing bridge decks on the structures carrying I-84 over Hood River (between Exit 63 and Exit 64).
Traffic Impacts: Travel lane shifts with one lane of eastbound I-84 closed 24/7.

Interstate 84 – Columbia River Highway – Mitchell Point Tunnel
Project Description: The iconic Mitchell Point Tunnel was a highlight of the original Historic Highway, but the construction of Interstate 84 destroyed the tunnel. Now, we are constructing a new tunnel and Historic Highway State Trail segment adjacent to I-84 east near Exit 58.
Traffic Impacts: Shoulder closures for I-84 east from 7 a.m. Monday through 5 p.m. Friday.

Interstate 205 – East Portland Freeway – Maintenance
Project Description: Crews are working to remove tree snags and other storm debris.
Traffic Impacts: Daytime lane closures from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on I-205 between Stafford Road and OR 43 Monday and Tuesday.
Interstate 205 – East Portland Freeway – Exit Ramps at Division Street
Project Description: ODOT is improving safety around the intersection of I-205, SE Division Street and SE 96th Avenue through lane and ramp reconfigurations, signal improvements, new accessible curb ramps, and buffered bike lanes.
Traffic Impacts: Daytime lane closures on Division and the northbound off-ramp to Division Street (exit 19).

Interstate 405 – Stadium Freeway – Flanders Crossing (City of Portland)
Project Description: PBOT is constructing a bridge over I-405 at NW Flanders St. A full closure of I-405 occurred to place the bridge.
Traffic Impacts: No traffic impacts to I-405.

U.S. 26 – Sunset Highway – Cornell Road to Sylvan interchange paving project
Project Description: We are improving approximately six miles of U.S. 26 by repaving both directions from Cornell Road to the Sylvan interchange, including several on- and off-ramps. We are also repairing bridges and bridge joints in the project area and upgrading curb ramps at each repaved on- and off-ramp to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.

U.S. 26 – Mt. Hood Highway – sidewalk curb ramps
Project Description: This project rebuilds sidewalk curb ramps along U.S. 26 in Sandy between Royal Lane and Revenue Avenue to meet ADA accessibility standards. Work will be complete the end of 2021.
Traffic Impacts: Periodic shoulder closures with pedestrian detours.

U.S. 30 BY – N Lombard Street – Safety Project
Project description: ODOT is building safety and travel-time predictability improvements for all travelers along U.S. 30 Bypass/North Lombard Street between North Fiske Avenue and North Boston Avenue. Construction impacts include lane closures through summer 2022.
Traffic impacts: Single lane closures during the day on N Lombard Street.

U.S. 30 – Historic Columbia River Highway – Oneonta Tunnel Fire Recovery
Project description: Restoration work is needed to reopen the Oneonta Tunnel on the Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail after the Eagle Creek Fire.
Traffic impacts: No traffic impacts.

Oregon 99W – Pacific Highway West – Naito Parkway Bridge Project
Project Description: ODOT is doing bridge maintenance on an elevated section of Naito Parkway, from Arthur Street/Kelly Avenue to Sheridan Street in SW Portland. The work increases the weight capacity of the bridge and replaces bridge seals to prevent water from entering the bridge structure.
Traffic impacts: Shoulder closures on the ramp from U.S. 26 west to northbound Naito Parkway.

Oregon 211 – Woodburn-Estacada Highway – Pedestrian and Bike Improvements
Project Description: ODOT, in partnership with the City of Molalla, is making pedestrian and bicycle improvements in Molalla along the north side of Oregon 211 between Oregon 213 and North Hezzie Lane. This project will enhance safety, operations, and efficiency for people walking, biking, driving, rolling, and using transit in the area.
Traffic Impacts: Daytime lane closures with flaggers directing traffic from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

Oregon 212 – Clackamas-Boring Highway – Improvements
Project Description: This project on OR 212 from I-205 to U.S. 26 through Damascus and Boring includes paving, upgrading accessible sidewalk ramps and installing a new bridge at North Fork Deep Creek. Work will be complete in fall 2021.
Traffic Impacts: Daytime lane closures and nighttime lane closures on OR 212 from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m.
Intermittent flagging and pilot cars directing traffic between 98th and 172nd Avenues at night.

All ODOT highways – Region 1 LED Replacement Project
Project Description: This project will replace over 8,000 roadway lights with light-emitting diode (LED) lights on ODOT roads throughout Region 1, which includes Multnomah, Clackamas and Hood River Counties and eastern Washington County.
Traffic Impacts: Nighttime closures of the N Denver/N Interstate on-ramp tunnel to I-5 north from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday nights.

Various Highways – Region 1 Rumble Strips
Project Description: This project will install approximately 400 miles of rumble strips across 17 highways in the Portland metro area. These important safety treatments significantly reduce fatal and serious crashes on highways when drivers inadvertently depart their travel lane. Work will be complete in fall 2021.
Traffic Impacts: Nighttime single and double lane closures on I-5 between I-205 and the Interstate Bridge from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday nights.

Various Highways – Portland metropolitan bridge screening and rail retrofit
Project Description: This project will improve safety on twelve bridges over ODOT highways in the Portland metro area by installing new fencing that will prevent fallen or thrown objects from hitting the highways below. We will also install new railings on four bridges to bring the bridges up to current safety standards. Bridges are in Portland, Hillsboro, Milwaukie, Boring, and Lake Oswego and Tigard.
Traffic impacts: Nighttime lane closures on OR 224 at Lake Road from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
