Landslides are a way of life in Oregon

When heavy rains saturate hillsides, especially those scarred by wildfire, we experience landslides like those now occurring around the western part of the state. But did you know that Oregon also has ancient landslides? In a new story on Transportation Insights, learn how ODOT geologists monitor and date landslides to learn how and why they happen in certain places.
