 Interstate 5 – Pacific Highway – Interstate Bridge Trunnion Replacement
Project Description: The northbound span of the Interstate Bridge closed from Sept. 19–27, 2020 as crews replaced mechanical parts that help lift and lower the bridge. The Interstate Bridge is located on I-5 where it connects Oregon and Washington across the Columbia River.
Traffic Impacts: Periodic nighttime lane closures in both directions of I-5 and on I-205 over the Glenn Jackson Bridge.

Interstate 5 – Pacific Highway – Rose Quarter Investigations
Project Description: This project will conduct utility work in the I-5 Rose Quarter Improvement Project area including nearby local streets between NE Tillamook Street and NE Lloyd Boulevard.
Traffic Impacts: NE Holladay Access Road closed Monday through Wednesday and partial closure of the NE 1st Avenue cul-de-sac (south of NE Wasco Street) Wednesday.

Interstate 84 – Columbia River Highway – Graham Road
Project Description: This project replaces the two I-84 bridges over Graham Road (Exit 17) in Troutdale and widens Graham Road and constructs a sidewalk and bike lane.
Traffic Impacts: No traffic impacts.

Interstate 84 – Columbia River Highway – Hood River Bridges Repair
Project Description: ODOT is repairing and replacing bridge decks on the structures carrying I-84 over Hood River (between Exit 63 and Exit 64).
Traffic Impacts: Nighttime lane and ramp closures at Exit 63 and 64. Travel lane shifts with one lane of eastbound I-84 closed 24/7 beginning end of week.

Interstate 205 – Abernethy Bridge to SE 82nd Ave – Paving
Project Description: ODOT will improve Interstate 205 between the Abernethy Bridge in Oregon City and SE 82nd Avenue near the Oregon 224 interchange by repaving over 4 miles of I-205 as well as installing rumble strips.
Traffic Impacts: Periodic shoulder closures.

Interstate 405 – Stadium Freeway – Ramp repairs
Project description: ODOT is repairing and replacing a number of freeway joints on the elevated sections of Interstate 405 on either side of the Fremont Bridge and from I-405 north to U.S. 26 west.
Traffic impacts: No traffic impacts.

Interstate 405 – Stadium Freeway – Flanders Crossing (City of Portland)
Project Description: PBOT is constructing a bridge over I-405 at NW Flanders St. A full closure of I-405 will occur in November 2020 to place the bridge.
Traffic Impacts: PBOT is constructing a bridge over I-405 at NW Flanders St. A full closure of I-405 is planned for the weekend of Jan. 22-25.

U.S. 26 – Powell Boulevard – Outer Powell Safety
Project Description: This project will construct roadway improvements on Powell Boulevard from SE 122nd Avenue to SE 136th Avenue to address the high rate of collisions on Outer Powell for the past several years. The purpose of this project is to increase safety for people who walk, drive, take the bus and ride bikes, making Outer Powell a safer place for everyone.

U.S. 30 – Historic Columbia River Highway – Oneonta Tunnel Fire Recovery
Project description: Restoration work is needed to reopen the Oneonta Tunnel on the Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail after the Eagle Creek Fire.
Traffic impacts: No traffic impacts.

Oregon 8 – TV Highway – Intersection Improvements at OR 219
Project Description: This project on OR 8 at OR 219 in downtown Hillsboro includes new traffic signals and signs, improved lighting, upgraded ADA curb ramps and a new left turn lane at OR 219 at Oak Street. Work will be complete in fall 2020.
Traffic Impacts: Daytime and nighttime lane closures.
Daytime lane and shoulder closures on Baseline Street (OR 8) and 1st Avenue and Oak Street (OR 8) and 1st Avenue.
Nighttime lane closures with flaggers directing on SW Baseline Street, SW Oak Street and 1st Avenue from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. week nights.

Oregon 8 – TV Highway – Pedestrian Crossing Upgrade at SE 44th/45th Avenue
Project Description: This project on OR 8 at 44th/45th avenues in Hillsboro includes pedestrian-activated flashing lights at the crosswalk on OR 8 between SE 44th and SE 45th Avenues, improved lighting and upgraded ADA curb ramps. Work will be complete in fall 2020.
Traffic Impacts: Daytime shoulder closures on OR 8 between SE 44th and 45th Avenue.

Oregon 99W – Pacific Highway West – Naito Parkway Bridge Project
Project Description: ODOT is doing bridge maintenance on an elevated section of Naito Parkway, from Arthur Street/Kelly Avenue to Sheridan Street in SW Portland. The work increases the weight capacity of the bridge and replaces bridge seals to prevent water from entering the bridge structure.
Traffic impacts: Shoulder closures on the ramp to northbound Naito Parkway.

Oregon 211 – Woodburn-Estacada Highway – Pedestrian and Bike Improvements
Project Description: ODOT, in partnership with the City of Molalla, is making pedestrian and bicycle improvements in Molalla along the north side of Oregon 211 between Oregon 213 and North Hezzie Lane. This project will enhance safety, operations, and efficiency for people walking, biking, driving, rolling, and using transit in the area.

Oregon 212 – Clackamas-Boring Highway – Improvements
Project Description: This project on OR 212 from I-205 to U.S. 26 through Damascus and Boring includes paving, upgrading accessible sidewalk ramps and installing a new bridge at North Fork Deep Creek. Work will be complete in fall 2021.
Traffic Impacts: Daytime lane closures and nighttime lane closures on OR 212 from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m.
Intermittent flagging and pilot cars directing traffic between 98th and 172nd Avenues at night.

All ODOT highways – Region 1 LED Replacement Project
Project Description: This project will replace over 8,000 roadway lights with light-emitting diode (LED) lights on ODOT roads throughout Region 1, which includes Multnomah, Clackamas and Hood River Counties and eastern Washington County.
Traffic Impacts: Nighttime lane closures on I-5 in North Portland.
Nighttime lane closures on I-5 from Columbia Street to Jantzen Beach and on I-5 exits, underpasses and overpasses in North Portland from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Thursday nights.
Possible nighttime closures include the I-5 north and south off-ramps to Hayden Island and MLK/Marine Drive, and on overpasses and underpasses at MLK and at Victory Boulevard.

All ODOT highways – Curve Warning Safety Project
Project Description: Construction for a road safety project is now underway on several highways and on‐ and off‐ramps in the Portland metro area to install approximately 400 curve warning and advisory speed signs.
Traffic Impacts: Nighttime lane and ramp closures on I-84 off-ramps and I-205 off-ramps.
Nighttime lane closures on the ramp from I-84 west to I-205 south, the I-205 north bridge over OR 99E. Nighttime ramp closures of the I-205 north Exit 9 off-ramp (to OR 99E), I-205 south Exit 12A off-ramp (to OR 212 east), I-205 south Exit 13 off-ramp (toward OR 224). Shoulder closures on I-84 off-ramps.
