Our Statewide Project Delivery Branch is hiring!

Our Central Materials Laboratory provides statewide support to the construction and maintenance programs. We perform specialized testing on asphalt and asphalt oil, aggregate, soil, and structural materials as well as support the Statewide Quality Assurance program.

We are recruiting for a laboratory technician to join our team! In this role, you will perform routine and complex testing on a variety of materials such as concrete cylinders, metals, paints and chemicals, aggregates, soils, bituminous mixtures, and petroleum products. Apply today!

The goal of this recruitment is to fill this position at an engineering specialist 2 level. However, we encourage candidates who meet the minimum qualifications for an engineering specialist 1 ($2,759 - $4,241) to apply, as we may consider underfilling the position until the selected candidate meets the minimum qualifications for an engineering specialist 2. Underfill training will not exceed three years.
