Oregon Transportation Commission to meet Oct. 22

Fall T-Building

SALEM — The Oregon Transportation Commission will conduct a virtual formal business meeting on Thursday, Oct. 22 beginning at 9 a.m. A virtual meeting ensures public access while maintaining social distance in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Agenda items include:

  • 2021-2023 OTC/ODOT Strategic Action Plan: Review and approve the 2021-2023 OTC/ODOT Strategic Action Plan. Commissioners will discuss communication planning to inform ODOT staff and external stakeholders about the plan.
  • Climate: An update on efforts underway in ODOT’s Climate Office to gain an understanding of how the agency is implementing Executive Order 20-04 on climate, the Statewide Transportation Strategy, and other efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from transportation.
  • Funding Update: An update on transportation funding, Including the October State Highway Fund revenue forecast and congressional action on federal surface transportation funding.
  • 2024-2027 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program: Presentation on the funding scenarios for the 2024-2027 STIP.
