I-84 Graham Road Bridges Project Complete
 Major work on the Interstate 84 Graham Road Bridges near downtown Troutdale is now complete. All travel lanes and sidewalks are open and no further travel impacts related to the project are expected.
The Graham Road Bridges project replaced two deteriorating interstate bridges and improved access to the growing industrial areas north of I-84. Before the project, cyclists were forced to use a narrow shoulder or share travel lanes with the many trucks that use the I-84 interchange. Pedestrians were forced to detour under the Sandy River Bridge or use an unofficial dirt trail next to Graham Road.
The completed project increased overhead clearance, constructed a third lane on Graham Road, and increased safety and accessibility with a new bike lane and sidewalk.
