Oregon 99W Northbound Tualatin River Bridge Repair Project
Crews are replacing the joints and the road surface, extending the life of the bridge for 20 to 30 years.
Lanes are Open Following Month-Long Closure
Work requiring the continuous closure of one lane on the 99W northbound span of the Tualatin River bridge is complete. During the lane closure, crews ground off the existing bridge deck and installed a new one. Over the next couple of months, expect intermittent nighttime lane closures as crews finish the bridge deck work along with bridge joint replacement, paving and striping.
Continued Construction Impacts
- Periodic nighttime lane closures on OR 99W northbound will continue throughout construction.
- Bicyclists will travel in the lane of traffic through the work zone.
- The speed limit on OR 99W northbound across the bridge is reduced from 45 MPH to 35 MPH during construction.

Construction continues at various times throughout the day and night, though workers may not always be visible to the public. Daytime and nighttime construction noise should be expected from time to time, and those working or living in the area may hear the noise.
A 24/7 nighttime noise hotline is available at 971-673-5239 for any noise-related concerns.
