Our Engineering and Technical Services Branch is hiring!

We are recruiting for a traffic work zone analyst to serve as a technical resource for our agency regarding temporary traffic controls in work zones. In this role, you will develop and implement work zone traffic analysis methodologies for use in project development to enhance the safe and efficient movement of people and goods on highways in Oregon during construction projects. What we need:

Completion of and passing score on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and one year of experience applying professional engineering theory, principles and methods.

Driving is an essential function of this position. You must have a valid driver license and an acceptable driving record. 

What we’d like to see:

• Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and their application.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise independent engineering judgment developing and maintaining work zone analysis tools.
