Be Alert for Email Phishing Scam Attempts

We have received several reports of an email phishing attempt sent as though it was Oregon Department of Transportation.  This email shows as coming from no-reply@ odot.gov with the subject “Subject: You have an important message on DBE portal waiting”  This is not a valid address for ODOT or COBID and we did not send any such email.  We are working with our Security team on this and ask that you please not open the email or respond.

By the way...

ODOT originated email addresses normally end with: "@odot.state.or.us" and our informational emails are sent from "odot­@service.govdelivery.com".
