SALEM— Travelers on Interstate 5 between Salem and Woodburn should expect some night time delays for the installation of permanent striping and recessed pavement markers starting May 26. This is part of last year’s paving project that was left unfinished because of fall rains that prevented the work from being completed.

Travelers can expect periodic lane closures both northbound and southbound for three weeks starting on May 26 from Sunday at 7 p.m. to Friday at 9 a.m. and Saturday at 7 p.m. to Sunday at 9 a.m.

This work will complete the paving of the 12-mile section of I-5 between Woodburn and Salem. Schedules are subject to change and are dependent on weather conditions.

For more information, go to the project web page at https://go.usa.gov/xmRKK.

Access for pedestrians, including those with disabilities, will be available and identified through or around the work zones.
