​OR 22 is a regional route with heavy commuter and freight traffic. Providing key access between Central Oregon, the Willamette Valley, and the central Oregon Coast, this lifeline route is in need of routine maintenance to keep it operating for years to come.​ Construction is starting this month on several of the planned projects. This pavement preservation project will repave eastbound and westbound lanes​ at the Rickreall Interchange (OR 22 and OR 99W) between mileposts 15 and 20, including the interchange ramps.​
