Ramp from US 30 to NB I-405 closes April 17 for 18 days

The work is part of the project to make improvements on I-405 around the Fremont Bridge

April 10, 2020

PORTLAND -- The ramp from eastbound U.S. 30 to northbound Interstate 405 to the Fremont Bridge will close for 18 days starting Friday, April 17.

The ramp will close at 8 p.m. Friday, April 17 and re-open by 5 a.m. Monday, May 4.

The work is part of an ODOT project to repair and replace bridge joints on elevated sections of I-405 on both sides of the Fremont Bridge and install concrete surfaces on several ramps, including the ramp from U.S. 30 to I-405 north.

The repairs will improve roadway conditions and maintain long-term safety on this heavily traveled freeway.

Work on the project began March 2019 and will last through the fall of 2020.
