SALEM - The Governor’s Advisory Committee on Motorcycle Safety will meet via conference call at 4 p.m., April 16. The Governor’s Advisory Committee on Motorcycle Safety is charged with advising the governor and ODOT’s Transportation Safety Division on issues regarding motorcycle rider safety. The committee reviews, proposes and makes recommendations concerning motorcycle safety-related legislation. The GAC-MS meetings also serve as a public forum for motorcyclists to discuss safety issues and to share motorcyclist safety information with riders and the general public.
