SALEM - The Governor’s Advisory Committee on Motorcycle Safety will meet via conference call at 4 p.m., April 16. The agenda includes a discussion about a tuition increase request, the 2021 Highway Safety Plan and more. Anyone interested can listen in via phone at 503-934-3605, access code 637306#. Comments from the public can be submitted via email to Alycen.Ozawa@odot.state.or.us by April 13.

The Governor’s Advisory Committee on Motorcycle Safety is charged with advising the governor and ODOT’s Transportation Safety Division on issues regarding motorcycle rider safety. The committee reviews, proposes and makes recommendations concerning motorcycle safety-related legislation. The GAC-MS meetings also serve as a public forum for motorcyclists to discuss safety issues and to share motorcyclist safety information with riders and the general public.
