SALEM — The Oregon Transportation Commission will hold its formal monthly meeting by telephone on Thursday, April 2, at 9:30 a.m. In compliance with Gov. Kate Brown’s directive on social distancing to slow the spread of COVID-19, this will be a virtual meeting. It will be live streamed at https://www.youtube.com/user/OregonDOT/live.

Items on the agenda include allocating federal funds to meet the immediate funding needs of bridge inspection, bridge load rating and accessible curb ramp projects. Commissioners will also receive an update on the Interstate 5 Rose Quarter Improvement Project and provide direction on the project’s environmental review process.

Commissioners encourage public comments. On March 13, it was announced that public comment would be accepted for this meeting through either written or videotaped testimony.

Meetings of the Oregon Transportation Commission are open to the public, however, this meeting will take place entirely virtually with no physical location for the public to attend. Accommodations will be provided to persons with disabilities, and alternate formats of printed material is available upon request. Please call 503-986-3450 (or statewide relay 711) for accommodations.
