ODOT NEWS RELEASE:

U.S. 101 closed at Umpqua River Bridge in Reedsport next Wednesday night

March 25, 2020

REEDSPORT -- U.S. Highway 101 will be closed at the Umpqua River Bridge (milepost 211) in Reedsport for six hours starting at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, due to repair work.

There is no local detour during the closure.

Some of the bridge’s crossbeams have been damaged in recent months. The closure will allow workers to repair the beams.

Emergency service vehicles will be given priority through the work zone.

A second bridge closure is tentatively scheduled for the night of Wednesday, April 22.
