SALEM – The Safe Routes to School Advisory Committee will meet from noon – 3 p.m. on Feb. 11 at the Chemeketa Center for Business and Industry, 626 High St NE in Salem. Agenda items include a discussion about criteria priorities for the next round of competitive construction grants, a presentation on staff recommendations for how to weigh the priorities and more. An option to participate in the meeting via Skype is available; you can get the details in the agenda on the SRTS website. The next meeting is scheduled for March 17.

The Safe Routes to School Advisory Committee is made up of stakeholders from around the state and is charged with recommending projects for funding in ODOT’s Safe Routes to School Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure Grant Programs. Learn more about the program on the website.
