January 28, 2020
PROSPECT - Oregon 62 is open to single lane traffic with flaggers and pilot cars after boulders fell onto the highway early today. Drivers should expect short delays just north of Peyton Bridge over Lost Creek Lake.
Beginning tomorrow morning during daylight hours, ODOT crews will remove additional rocks and debris from the slope. Drivers should expect longer delays to remove trees and rocks from the hillside. This work is expected to take about a week.
A vehicle was damaged by a large boulder that fell off the hillside early this morning. An occupant of the vehicle was treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to Oregon State Police.
