PORTLAND – The on-ramp from North Alberta Street to northbound Interstate 5 will close for a week starting 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8.
The ramp will be closed from, 9 p.m. Sunday until 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15.
The closure is necessary for crews to begin construction of a sign bridge that will span both directions of I-5 and, in 2020, will carry new ODOT RealTime traveler advisory signs.
Signs will direct travelers to detours.
Another ramp closure in this project is planned for January. The southbound I-5 off-ramp to Alberta Street will be closed from 9 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5 until 9 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12.
