If the weather complies, crews will apply deck seal in a project that will keep the half-century old ramps healthy

PORTLAND – The ramp from southbound Interstate 5 to eastbound Interstate 84 will be closed Wednesday and Friday nights as crews complete a deck seal project.
Here are the closure details.
- 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9 to 6 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10.
- 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11 to 7 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12.
The work is weather-dependent.
ODOT will not work on the ramps Thursday night because of the Portland Trail Blazers home game.
ODOT appreciates the public patience on this project and understands the disruptions caused by the work. This project, though, assures the safety and stability of these half-century old ramps for decades to come.
