 Interstate 5 – Marquam Bridge – Electrical and Lighting Replacement
Project Description: This project will replace the existing electrical and lighting systems for both the upper and lower decks of the Marquam Bridge.
Traffic Impacts: Intermittent nighttime lane closures on both the top and bottom decks of the Marquam Bridge 10 p.m. to 5 am. Sunday through Thursday.

Interstate 5 – Pacific Highway – Paving and Auxiliary Lane
Project Description: This project will add a southbound auxiliary lane on I-5 from Lower Boones Ferry Road to I-205, add a second lane to the Lower Boones Ferry Road off-ramp from I-5 north, and pave I-5 from OR 99W to I-205.
Traffic Impacts: Periodic daytime and nighttime shoulder closures in both directions of I-5.

Interstate 5 – Interstate 84 Interchange – ramp maintenance
Project Description: This project will apply a bridge deck concrete seal on several of the ramps of the I-5/I-84 Interchange (also known as the Banfield Interchange)
Traffic Impacts: The ramp from I-5 south to I-84 east will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the nights of Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, October 6, 7 and 8.

Interstate 84 – Banfield Expressway – Regional Connections
Project Description: This project is the next phase of ODOT RealTime, a system that provides real-time traffic information on roads to help travelers get where they're going more safely and efficiently.
Traffic Impacts: Single lane closures on I-84 eastbound and westbound at 57th Avenue.

Interstate 84 – Columbia River Highway – Graham Road
Project Description: This project replaces the two I-84 bridges over Graham Road (Exit 17) in Troutdale and widens Graham Road and constructs a sidewalk and bike lane.
Traffic Impacts: Full weekend closure of Graham Road from 9 p.m. October 11 to 5 a.m. October 14. Full closure of I-84 east 10 p.m. October 8 to 5 a.m. October 9.
Daytime single lane or shoulder closures on I-84 westbound and eastbound Mondays through Thursdays throughout the day or Fridays until noon.

Interstate 84 – Columbia River Highway – Wyeth to Lindsey Creek
Project Description: This project is constructing the next phase of the Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail. This segment will connect Wyeth Campgrounds to the State Trail at Lindsey Creek. Construction will occur through summer 2019.

Interstate 205 – East Portland Freeway – Glenn Jackson Bridge to Johnson Creek Boulevard
Project description: This project will pave 9 miles of I-205 between Johnson Creek Boulevard and the Glenn Jackson Bridge, including some ramps, build auxiliary lanes in three locations, install ODOT RealTime electronic signs and make pedestrian improvements at Glisan Street.
Traffic impacts: Nighttime two-lane closures northbound from Foster to Washington/Stark 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Nighttime ramp and daytime lane closures on I-205 north.

Interstate 205 – East Portland Freeway – Northbound Auxiliary Lane at Sunnybrook
Project description: ODOT is improving safety and operations on Interstate 205 by building a northbound auxiliary lane between the Oregon 224 (Sunrise Expressway) on-ramp and the Sunnyside Road/Sunnybrook Boulevard interchange exit ramp (Exit 14).
Traffic impacts: Nighttime lane and ramp closures on I-205 north at Sunnybrook from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Sunday through Thursday nights, October 6 to 10.

Interstate 405 – Stadium Freeway – Ramp repairs
Project description: ODOT is repairing and replacing a number of freeway joints on the elevated sections of Interstate 405 on either side of the Fremont Bridge and from I-405 north to U.S. 26 west. Major traffic impacts will occur in 2019 and 2020.
Traffic impacts: I-5 south to I-405 south ramp and Going St on-ramp to I-5 south both closed 9 p.m. October 4 to 10 a.m. October 7.
The I-5 south ramp to I-405 south will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, October 4 to 10 a.m. Monday, October 7.
The Going Street on-ramp to I-5 south will also be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, October 4 to 10 a.m. Monday, October 7.
The following ramps will be closed 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the nights of Wednesday, October 9 and Thursday, October 10:
I-5 south to ramp to I-405 south.
Going St on-ramp to I-5 south.
Periodic nighttime lane closures on I-405 north and south from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Periodic lane closures on the ramp from U.S. 30 east to I-405 south from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Single lane 24/7 closure on N Kerby/N Cook on-ramp until fall 2020.

U.S. 26 – Powell Boulevard – Safety Improvements
Project Description: This project will make safety improvements on Powell Boulevard from Southeast 20th to 34th Avenues. Improvements include installing pedestrian activated beacons, new signs improved lighting, and crosswalk and sidewalk improvements.
Traffic Impacts: Daytime lane closures on eastbound Powell Blvd at SE 24th Avenue 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

U.S. 26 – Powell Boulevard – Outer Powell Safety
Project Description: This project will construct roadway improvements on Powell Boulevard from SE 122nd Avenue to SE 136th Avenue to address the high rate of collisions on Outer Powell for the past several years. The purpose of this project is to increase safety for people who walk, drive, take the bus and ride bikes, making Outer Powell a safer place for everyone.
Traffic Impacts: Shoulder closures Monday through Saturday. Nighttime single lane closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday nights.

U.S. 30 Bypass – St. Johns Bridge – Maintenance Work
Project Description: This August, we will begin maintenance work on the St. Johns Bridge. The work will improve the strength of the bridge by applying steel reinforcement to the framework under the bridge. Work will not be visible from the top of the bridge, however scaffolding will be visible from below. The work is expected to last 60 days and will require a full 24/7 sidewalk closure on one side of the bridge at a time. One sidewalk on the bridge will be open at all times.
Traffic Impacts: The westbound sidewalk on the north side of the bridge will be closed 24/7 for up to 30 days beginning September 16.
One sidewalk will be open at all times. Sidewalk closures will last a total of 60 days.

Oregon 8 – Tualatin Valley Highway – Regional Connections
Project description: This project is the next phase of ODOT RealTime, a system that provides real-time traffic information on roads to help travelers get where they're going more safely and efficiently.

Oregon 35 – Mt. Hood Highway – Rockfall mitigation near Mt. Hood
Project Description: This project will remove hazard trees and loose rock and repair existing rockfall fencing in two locations on OR 35, near Mt. Hood Meadows and near Polallie Creek and Cooper Spur Road.
Traffic Impacts: Lane closures at milepost 72.9 near Polallie Creek/Cooper Spur Rd and southbound milepost 63 near the exit for Mt. Hood Meadows.
Lane closures weekdays 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. with flaggers directing traffic.

Oregon 99E - McLoughlin Boulevard - Tunnel improvements
Project description: This project improves the lighting in the vehicle and pedestrian tunnels on McLoughlin Boulevard near downtown Oregon City. It also installs a new variable message sign on the side of the tunnel to alert northbound drivers of conditions ahead.
Traffic Impacts: Daytime single lane closures on northbound OR 99E 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nighttime lane closures 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. with flaggers directing traffic.
Three lane closures on OR 99E in both directions between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Flaggers will direct two-way traffic.

Oregon 99W – Pacific Highway – Access to Transit Tigard
Project description: This project will improve safety and access to transportation at three sites on OR 99W/Pacific Highway West in Tigard and two sites on OR 99W/SW Barbur Boulevard in Portland. Improvements include bus stops, sidewalk infill, enhanced pedestrian and bike crossings, and transit operations improvements.
Traffic impacts: Daytime and nighttime lane and shoulder closures on OR 99W at SW Lane St and 53rd Ave in Portland and between Naeve St and Bull Mountain Rd in Tigard.
SW Commercial Street will be closed to vehicle traffic between Lincoln Street and Main Street 24/7 for up to 60 days. Bike and pedestrian access will be detoured around the work zone during work hours. The right hand turn lane onto Bull Mountain Road from southbound OR 99W and the left turn lane from Bull Mountain Road onto northbound OR 99W will be closed September 23 to October 7. Daytime shoulder closures on northbound OR 99W between SW Naeve Street and SW Beef Bend Road and at the Beef Bend Road intersection. Daytime lane and sidewalk closures with accessible detour.

Where northbound Barbur Blvd and Naito Blvd split, the right shoulder of northbound Barbur Blvd and the left lane of northbound Naito Pkwy will be closed just north of the split.

Oregon 219 – Hillsboro-Silverton Highway - High Friction Surface Treatment
Project description: ODOT will apply a High Friction Surface Treatment to three curves on OR 219 near the Laurel/Midway area of Washington County. This treatment will improve skid resistance and dramatically decrease the number of crashes in wet and slick conditions in these areas.
Traffic impacts: Intermittent short-term single lane closures on OR 219 near Laurel from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Flaggers directing traffic. Trucks follow signed detour.

Oregon 224 – Clackamas Highway - High Friction Surface Treatment
Project description: ODOT will apply a High Friction Surface Treatment to three curves on OR 224 just east of Carver in Clackamas County. This treatment will improve skid resistance and dramatically decrease the number of crashes in wet and slick conditions in these areas.
Traffic impacts: Intermittent short-term single lane closures on OR 224 between 6 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. with flaggers directing traffic.

Region 1 – Bridge Deck Maintenance
Project Description: This project will apply a bridge deck concrete seal to several bridges around the Portland region this summer. These deck seals will create a barrier, keep water from seeping into the bridges and increase the lifespan of the bridges.
Traffic Impacts: Both directions of the top deck of the Steel Bridge closed up to two nights in the upcoming two weeks from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Buses will detour around the bridge during the lane closures but TriMet MAX will run over the bridge as scheduled. See TriMet alerts for more details.
