A day in the life of an ODOT right of way agent:

• Prepare for and manage the acquisition of needed land interests. You will negotiate with property owners often.
• Plan and direct the appraisal function for Southern Oregon’s Region 3. 
• Make liaison studies in the region in an effort to minimize social and economic costs and impacts.
• Work a flexible schedule to accommodate public meetings and the needs of property owners.
