Committee will discuss, finalize freight elements of draft rules

SALEM - The Connect Oregon Rules Advisory Committee will meet from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m,  Aug. 19 in Room 115 at the Chemeketa Center for Business and Industry, 626 High St. SE, in Salem. The committee is charged with updating rules for the program in light of the legislative changes approved in Keep Oregon Moving (HB 2017). Agenda items include finalizing the draft rule and reconciling the changes made to the program by the legislature in the 2019 session (HB 2592). This is the sixth and final RAC meeting for the Connect Oregon program, which funds aviation, marine and rail capital infrastructure projects.
