 Interstate 5 – Pacific Highway – Rose Quarter soil sampling
Project Description: This project will conduct soil sampling in the Rose Quarter and Albina area along I-5 including ramps, shoulders and nearby local streets between I-84 and I-405.
Traffic Impacts: Daytime lane closures on NE Oregon Street from August 8 to August 13. No weekend work.

Interstate 5 – Pacific Highway – Interstate Bridge to Moda Center paving
Project Description: This project will repave approximately six miles of Interstate 5 and exit and entrance ramps between the Interstate Bridge and the Moda Center. The project will also replace and upgrade existing signs on the mainline and on exit ramps, upgrade ADA ramps and replace the median barrier on the Hayden Island Bridge and near the North Broadway exit.
Traffic Impacts: No traffic impacts.

Interstate 5 – Pacific Highway – Paving and Auxiliary Lane
Project Description: This project will add a southbound auxiliary lane on I-5 from Lower Boones Ferry Road to I-205, add a second lane to the Lower Boones Ferry Road off-ramp from I-5 north, and pave I-5 from OR 99W to I-205.
Traffic Impacts: Nighttime lane and ramp closures in both directions. Periodic shoulder closures.
The southbound on- and off-ramps at Lower Boones Ferry (exit 290) will be closed at night between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Shoulder closures.

Interstate 84 – Banfield Expressway – Regional Connections
Project Description: This project is the next phase of ODOT RealTime, a system that provides real-time traffic information on roads to help travelers get where they're going more safely and efficiently.
Traffic Impacts: Single lane closures on I-84 eastbound at 57th Avenue.

Interstate 84 – Columbia River Highway – Graham Road
Project Description: This project replaces the two I-84 bridges over Graham Road (Exit 17) in Troutdale and widens Graham Road and constructs a sidewalk and bike lane.
Traffic Impacts: Nighttime lane closures from 10 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Nighttime single lane closures on I-84 and daytime and nighttime lane closures on Graham Road.
Daytime shoulder closures on I-84.

Interstate 84 – Columbia River Highway – Wyeth to Lindsey Creek
Project Description: This project is constructing the next phase of the Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail. This segment will connect Wyeth Campgrounds to the State Trail at Lindsey Creek. Construction will occur through summer 2019.
Traffic Impacts: No traffic impacts.

Interstate 205 – East Portland Freeway – Glenn Jackson Bridge to Johnson Creek Boulevard
Project description: This project will pave 9 miles of I-205 between Johnson Creek Boulevard and the Glenn Jackson Bridge, including some ramps, build auxiliary lanes in three locations, install ODOT RealTime electronic signs and make pedestrian improvements at Glisan Street.
Traffic impacts: Glenn Jackson Bridge closed from 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14 until 5 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15
Periodic nighttime ramp closures at the northbound Exit 20 toward Washington and Stark Streets, the southbound Washington Street on-ramp, and northbound Exit 23B to Killingsworth Street/U.S. 30 Bypass.
Periodic daytime single lane closures in both directions on Glisan Street and on Washington and Stark.

Interstate 205 – East Portland Freeway – Northbound Auxiliary Lane at Sunnybrook
Project description: ODOT is improving safety and operations on Interstate 205 by building a northbound auxiliary lane between the Oregon 224 (Sunrise Expressway) on-ramp and the Sunnyside Road/Sunnybrook Boulevard interchange exit ramp (Exit 14).
Traffic impacts: Single lane closures on I-205 northbound. The OR 224 and Sunnybrook Boulevard ramp will remain open.

Interstate 405 – Stadium Freeway – Ramp repairs
Project description: ODOT is repairing and replacing a number of freeway joints on the elevated sections of Interstate 405 on either side of the Fremont Bridge and from I-405 north to U.S. 26 west. Major traffic impacts will occur in 2019 and 2020.
Traffic impacts: Nighttime lane and ramp closures on I-405, U.S. 30, U.S. 26, and ramps around I-405.
Nighttime lane closures on mainline I-405 south and I-405 north 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday.
Periodic nighttime lane or full ramp closures on the following ramps from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Saturday nights:
U.S. 30 east ramp to I-405 south, I-405 south off-ramp to Glisan Street, the ramp from I-405 north to U.S. 30 west, Glisan Street on-ramp to I-405 north, Couch Street on-ramp to I-405 north, the ramp from I-405 north to U.S. 26 west and the SW 6th Ave on-ramp to I-405 north.
Single lane 24/7 closure on N Kerby/N Cook on-ramp until fall 2020.

U.S. 26 – Powell Boulevard – Safety Improvements
Project Description: This project will make safety improvements on Powell Boulevard from Southeast 20th to 34th Avenues. Improvements include installing pedestrian activated beacons, new signs improved lighting, and crosswalk and sidewalk improvements.
Traffic Impacts: No traffic impacts.

U.S. 26 – Powell Boulevard – Outer Powell Safety
Project Description: This project will construct roadway improvements on Powell Boulevard from SE 122nd Avenue to SE 136th Avenue to address the high rate of collisions on Outer Powell for the past several years. The purpose of this project is to increase safety for people who walk, drive, take the bus and ride bikes, making Outer Powell a safer place for everyone.
Traffic Impacts: Weekday shoulder closures. Watch for crews and equipment. Nighttime single lane closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday.

Oregon 35 – Mt. Hood Highway – Safety Improvements at Mt. Hood Meadows
Project Description: This Western Federal Lands project is constructing safety improvements with lane widening and dedicated right and left turn lanes accessing the ski area. This project will also construct a box culvert under OR 35. Construction will occur through summer 2019.
Traffic Impacts: Single lane closures in both directions of OR 35 24/7 with a temporary traffic signal.
Oregon 35 – Mt. Hood Highway – Rockfall mitigation near Mt. Hood
Project Description: This project will remove hazard trees and loose rock and repair existing rockfall fencing in two locations on OR 35, near Mt. Hood Meadows and near Polallie Creek and Cooper Spur Road.
Traffic Impacts: Northbound OR 35 lane closures at MP 72.9 near Polallie Creek and Cooper Spur Road. Closures daily 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Flaggers controlling traffic during northbound OR 35 lane closures. Intermittent short-term lane closures while crews set up worksites.

Oregon 99E – McLoughlin Boulevard – Tunnel Improvements
Project description: This project improves the lighting in the vehicle and pedestrian tunnels on McLoughlin Boulevard near downtown Oregon City. It also installs a new variable message sign on the side of the tunnel to alert northbound drivers of conditions ahead.
Traffic Impacts: Intermittent daytime single lane closures on McLoughlin Boulevard.

Oregon 99W – Pacific Highway – Access to Transit Tigard and Portland
Project description: This project will improve safety and access to transportation at three sites on OR 99W in Tigard. Improvements include bus stops, sidewalk infill, enhanced pedestrian and bike crossings, and transit operations improvements.
Traffic impacts: SW Commercial Street closed for 60 days between Lincoln Avenue and Main Street beginning Tuesday, August 13.
SW Commercial Street will be closed to vehicle traffic between Lincoln Street and Main Street 24/7 for up to 60 days beginning Tuesday, August 13. Bike and pedestrian access will be maintained through the work zone. Residents of the closed area of Commercial Street will be able to access their properties from Lincoln Avenue.
Daytime shoulder closures on OR 99W between SW Naeve Street and SW Beef Bend Road.
Nighttime lane closures on SW Barbur Boulevard in both directions at SW Lane Street near where Barbur Blvd and Naito Parkway split.

Region 1 – Bridge Deck Maintenance
Project Description: This project will apply a bridge deck concrete seal to several bridges around the Portland region this summer. These deck seals will create a barrier, keep water from seeping into the bridges and increase the lifespan of the bridges.
Traffic Impacts: Nighttime lane or full closures on several bridges around the Portland region 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the week of August 12 to 16.
Lane closures on OR 99E/NE MLK over I-5 near Delta Park for bridge deck seal several nights from 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. For one night the I-5 southbound ramp to eastbound OR 99E/MLK Jr. Blvd will be closed and traffic using this ramp will be detoured to the traffic signal on MLK Jr. Blvd.
The westbound I-84 off-ramp to NE Halsey Street will be closed 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. up to two nights.
One lane in each direction of I-84 over the Union Pacific Railroad tracks near NE 192nd Avenue will be closed 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. up to several nights.
One lane of traffic in each direction of SE Otty Road over I-205.
