AV Task Force subcommittee meetings rescheduled

Salem, Ore. – The following AV Task Force subcommittee meetings have been re-scheduled:
RESCHEDULED for August 13: Public Transit Subcommittee meeting, 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 13 (previously August 6) Conference Rooms A/B at the ODOT Building at 123 N.W. Flanders St., Portland. -- The subcommittee will finalize the subcommittee materials to be reviewed by the full task force, including a memo on examples from other jurisdictions and the public transit components matrix.
RESCHEDULED for August 14: Land Use Subcommittee meeting, NEW TIME: 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 14 (previously August 13), NEW ROOM: Room 103 at the Transportation Building, 355 Capitol St. N.E. in Salem. -- The meeting will focus on pricing strategies, especially occupancy pricing.
And this meeting is now scheduled:
August 12: Vehicle Code Amendments and Public Safety Subcommittee conference call, 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Monday, August 12. This meeting will be primarily a conference call, but subcommittee members and members of the public are welcome to attend in person at Room 340 at the Transportation Building, 355 Capitol St. N.E. in Salem. The subcommittee will review brief statements on definitions and on insurance and liability.
The task force was created by House Bill 4063, which names 31 stakeholders as members, including four legislators, state agency representatives, law enforcement, truck and automobile interests, technology company representatives, consumer interests, worker interests and more.
The agenda for all task force and subcommittee meetings will include time for public comment, which can also be submitted via email to OregonAVTaskForce@odot.state.or.us.
