Two AV Task Force subcommittees will meet in Salem August 8

Salem, Ore. – The Task Force on Autonomous Vehicles will host three subcommittee meetings:

August 8: Workforce Changes Subcommittee meeting, 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. Thursday, August 8, Room 340 at the Transportation Building, 355 Capitol St. N.E. in Salem. The subcommittee will review the final draft of the workforce report from OED and the elements for the RFP study.

August 8: Cybersecurity, Privacy and Data Subcommittee meeting, 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Thursday, August 8, Room 240 at the Transportation Building, 355 Capitol St. N.E. in Salem. The subcommittee will review the final draft of the privacy statement, finalize the list of references, and discuss the data framing homework.

The task force was created by House Bill 4063, which names 31 stakeholders as members, including four legislators, state agency representatives, law enforcement, truck and automobile interests, technology company representatives, consumer interests, worker interests and more. 

The agenda for all task force and subcommittee meetings will include time for public comment, which can also be submitted via email to OregonAVTaskForce@odot.state.or.us.
