Pendleton DMV hours to change starting July 1

PENDLETON – The Pendleton DMV will change its office hours starting July 1, opening at 9 a.m. instead of 8:30 a.m.

The office’s hours have been 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. Starting July 1, the hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

The Pendleton DMV, located at 1732 SW Court Ave., is one of three DMV offices that serve Umatilla County. It is the only one in the state that has had an 8:30 a.m. opening time. The new hours will make it consistent with other offices across Oregon and allow for more efficient staffing schedules for hours when the office is open to the public.

You might be able to get the DMV services you need at home – common transactions such as renewing vehicle registration, changing your address, and reporting the sale of a vehicle can be done online at www.oregondmv.com.
