Expect lane closures on Van Buren Street and 1st Street in Corvallis

CORVALLIS - Lane closures and some parking spots closures are needed on Van Buren Street and 1st Street over the next month for environmental work preparing for the OR 34 Van Buren Bridge Project.

May 16, 17, and 20: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Expect single lane closures on Van Buren Street between 1st and 2nd Street and up to four parking stall closures.

May 21 - May 24: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The left turn lane will be closed from Van Buren Street to 1st Street. Travelers should take NW Tyler Avenue to park on 1st Street north of Van Buren Street. Detour signs will be in place. The center lane of Van Buren Street between 2nd Street and 1st Street will also be closed. Travelers can access Van Buren Bridge and 1st Street south of Van Buren Street via the right turn lane.

May 29 through June 20: Some parking on 1st Street will be closed occasionally, for access to Riverfront Park. Two parking stalls on 1st Street immediately north of Van Buren Street will close twice for four consecutive days.
