Compensation: $4,485 to 6,623 per month with excellent benefits!

 

The role:

Our Region 3 environmental unit is looking for someone to join the team as an environmental permit specialist. In this role, you will be a staff expert in the fields of water quality, wetlands and related biology and natural processes. Your knowledge will be put to work to assist the department in getting permits and local government approval for the impacts of highway construction projects and other activities in and around wetlands and waterways.

 

What we need:

  • Two years of environmental analysis or resource project management experience and a Bachelor's degree with 30 quarter or 20 semester hours in an environmental science, a physical science, a natural science, engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Three additional years of environmental analysis or resource project management experience may substitute for the Bachelor's degree.
