AV Task Force subcommittee on workforce adds April 16 meeting; two other meetings postponed

Salem, Oregon – The Task Force on Autonomous Vehicles has made changes to its April meeting schedule.
The subcommittees are scheduled to meet as follows:

Added meeting: Workforce Changes Subcommittee: 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Tuesday, April 16. This meeting will primarily be a conference call, but subcommittee members and members of the public are welcome to attend in person at Room 339 at the Transportation Building, 355 Capitol St. N.E., in Salem

As originally scheduled: Land Use Subcommittee: 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, Room 228 at ODOT Building in Portland, 123 NW Flanders St.

Public Transit Subcommittee: April 10 meeting is postponed; new date TBD.

Cybersecurity and Privacy Subcommittee: April 11 meeting is postponed; new date TBD.
The full task force is slated to meet again some time in May.
Public comment can be submitted via email to OregonAVTaskForce@odot.state.or.us, and the agenda for each subcommittee meeting will include time for comment as well.
The task force was created by House Bill 4063, which named 31 stakeholders as members, including four legislators, state agency representatives, law enforcement, truck and automobile interests, technology company representatives, consumer interests, worker interests and others. The group submitted its 2018 report to the Oregon Legislature on Sept. 11, 2018.
