Expect delays, detours at SE Evergreen Avenue RR crossing in Redmond

You can expect delays and detours at the BNSF Railroad crossing along SE Evergreen Avenue (OR 126) in Redmond Sunday through Friday (April 7-12), between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. The crossing is located just east of U.S. 97. The closure is needed for RR repairs.
Eastbound traffic will be detoured onto E Antler Avenue and McCaffrey Road (north of SE Evergreen Avenue), or Veterans Way (south of SE Evergreen Avenue). Over-dimensional freight will be directed off of Veterans Way and onto SE Lake Road due to a sharp crest in the pavement on Veterans Way. Westbound traffic on SE Evergreen Avenue will be able to cross the railroad tracks at the work site, but motorists should expect up to twenty minute delays with flaggers controlling traffic. Detours signs and message boards will be in place to direct traffic around the RR crossing closure. Travelers are advised to plan for delays and the extra time needed for detour routes.
