SPRINGFIELD - Travelers should expect and plan for multiple delays as numerous storm recovery projects continue throughout Lane County.

Work along OR 58 Willamette Highway and OR 126 McKenzie Highway includes:

  • Hazardous tree removal along the roadway. Hundreds of trees were damaged in the February snow storm. Work is expected to continue in multiple locations through at least Memorial Day.
  • Guardrail replacement where guardrail was damaged by falling trees and crashes.
  • Utility repairs.

OR 126W Florence-Eugene Highway:

  • Guardrail replacement is scheduled for Sunday, March 31 during the day.

OR 36 Mapleton-Junction City Highway:

  • Guardrail replacement is scheduled for Monday, April 1 during the day.

Traffic may be delayed up to 20 minutes at each work zone. Crews are working at multiple locations to complete cleanup as quickly as possible.

Access for pedestrians, including those with disabilities, is available and identified through or around work zones.
