Subcommittees of AV Task Force scheduled to meet April 1-10

Salem, Oregon – The Task Force on Autonomous Vehicles has scheduled subcommittee meetings for its next round of work.
The task force was created by House Bill 4063, which named 31 stakeholders as members, including four legislators, state agency representatives, law enforcement, truck and automobile interests, technology company representatives, consumer interests, worker interests and others. The group submitted its 2018 report to the Oregon Legislature on Sept. 11, 2018.
The subcommittees are scheduled to meet as follows:

Road and Infrastructure Design Subcommittee: 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Monday, April 1, Room 340 at the Transportation Building, 355 Capitol St. N.E., in Salem

Vehicle Code Amendments and Public Safety Subcommittee: 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Monday, April 8, Room 340 at the Transportation Building, 355 Capitol St. N.E., in Salem

Cybersecurity and Privacy Subcommittee: 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 11, Room 340 at the Transportation Building, 355 Capitol St. N.E., in Salem
The full task force is slated to meet again in late April or early May.
Public comment can be submitted via email to OregonAVTaskForce@odot.state.or.us, and the agenda for each subcommittee meeting will include time for comment as well.
