Internal Auditor Intern Needed in Salem

We are seeking a summer intern to help plan and conduct performance audits, present results and recommend improvements. Audit Services is uniquely positioned to analyze policy issues across the department. We do this through conducting performance audits, which give managers information that helps make government operations more effective and efficient. If you are interested in transportation policy analysis, and especially organizational performance analysis, come join our team! You will gain valuable work experience and learn more about the great culture at ODOT. Performance auditors come from a wide variety of fields and backgrounds – commonalities include a love of learning, critical thinking skills, intellectual honesty, strong proficiency in listening and communication, an interest in government and the desire to make a difference. We are accepting applications from college graduate students studying public or business administration or a related field. Recent graduates are also invited to apply. Note: this is not accounting-related work.
