Next round of AV Task Force subcommittees scheduled for Feb. 25-March 7

Salem, Oregon – The Task Force on Autonomous Vehicles has scheduled subcommittee meetings for its next round of work.
The task force was created by House Bill 4063, which named 31 stakeholders as members, including four legislators, state agency representatives, law enforcement, truck and automobile interests, technology company representatives, consumer interests, worker interests and others. The group submitted its 2018 report to the Oregon Legislature on Sept. 11, 2018.
The new subcommittees are scheduled to meet as follows:

Road and Infrastructure Design Subcommittee: 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, Room 340 at the Transportation Building, 355 Capitol St. N.E., in Salem

Cybersecurity and Privacy Subcommittee: 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Friday, March 1, Room 240 at the Transportation Building, 355 Capitol St. N.E., in Salem

Workforce Changes Subcommittee: 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, Basement Room at the Transportation Building, 355 Capitol St. N.E., in Salem

Public comment can be submitted via email to OregonAVTaskForce@odot.state.or.us, and the agenda for each subcommittee meeting will include time for comment as well.
