ODOT Sets Weight Restriction On US26 Bridge

MADRAS – Beginning on February 5, 2019, the Oregon Department of Transportation will be imposing a weight restriction on the US26 North Unit Canal bridge at milepost 115.58 near Madras, per the following:
Single-unit Specialized Hauling Vehicles (SHV’s). The restrictions are as follows:
- 5 Axles are limited to 30 Tons
- 6 Axles are limited to 33 Tons
- 7 Axles are limited to 36 Tons
A detour will be in place and a photo description is attached.
Motor Carriers need to provide this information to their drivers, by copy of this letter or other means, to assure their awareness of the restriction.
